Job summary

UEI College in Las Vegas is seeking a Student Finance Advisor to join our campus team. You will assist the Director of Student Finance in administering financial aid programs and help prospective and current students navigate eligibility and awards.

The role emphasizes accuracy in reviewing files, coordinating with disbursement, and ensuring timely submission of aid. Associates degree required; Bachelor's preferred; one year of prior aid experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding Title IV activities or programs preferred.
• Associates degree or comparable work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective students to determine financial aid eligibility.
• Review student files for completeness and accuracy for submission.
• Review and authorize students' Financial Aid awards.
