Job summary

Exelon is seeking Testing and Commissioning Engineers for an on-site field role in the energy delivery network. You will commission, test, troubleshoot, and maintain protection, SCADA, and substation automation systems across various substations.

Position requires 0-3 years (or 5-7 with non-degreed) of technical experience, travel to substations, and willingness to work extended hours or on-call during storms or energy emergencies. Competitive benefits and salary offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Understanding of regulations, guides, standards and codes
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and use test instruments
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Willingness to travel to substations/locations
• Must be available for shifts and 24/7 coverage during emergencies

Responsibilities

• Conduct corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and project installation testing on power equipment
• Provide leadership and support to substation maintenance teams
• Coordinate with T&S Engineering, Work Management, Project Management and Operations
• Support substation outage planning and maintenance programs
• Ensure safety culture and readiness for field work, including overtime when needed
