Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Tester III to validate autonomous vehicle software through hands-on field tests and simulation. You will contribute to scalable validation strategies, troubleshoot complex behaviors, and support test automation using Python or Bash.

The role requires collaboration with engineering teams to refine validation approaches, manage test data, and participate in on-site test operations with safety protocols across testing environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software testing or validation roles.
• Experience in real-world and simulation testing environments.
• Familiarity with validating complex software systems such as robotics/autonomy.
• Basic scripting for automation or data analysis (Python/Bash).
• Experience troubleshooting complex system behaviors during validation or field testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support advanced validation testing in real-world and simulation environments.
• Develop scalability and validation strategies for reliable performance.
• Troubleshoot complex system behaviors and identify root causes with engineering teams.
• Contribute to test automation with scripting solutions.
• Analyze test data and performance metrics to find trends and improvements.
• Operate and test construction or heavy equipment during controlled tests with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers and scrum teams for releases.
