Bowman is hiring a Survey Party Chief to join our team in Naples, FL and Fort Myers, FL. The role involves leading field crews, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring accurate geospatial data collection.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on a land surveying crew, knowledge of ALTA/NSPS surveys, and proficiency with total stations and GPS. Local travel and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor's preferred.
• 3+ years of land surveying party experience; party chief experience a plus.
• Knowledge of field procedures for land title surveys (ALTA/NSPS) and boundary surveys.
• Proficiency with total station, GPS and data collection; adaptability to new equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision of the survey field crew and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with contractors to deliver survey services and manage projects.
• Identify property line controls and determine survey progression.
• Gather information and assign tasks to crew for efficient data collection.
• Discuss work with clients as needed and maintain survey records.
• Perform calculations and maintain essential survey documentation and truck/equipment upkeep.
• Communicate with management to maximize efficiency and staffing.
