The role requires extensive travel (approximately 75%) to project sites, with hands-on work performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys and construction layout.

The candidate will supervise field crews, collect data, and maintain equipment while ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with state surveying requirements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive land surveying experience.
• Proficiency with surveying equipment, data collection software.
• Understand surveying principles, coordinate systems, and staking.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field survey crew members.
• Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
• Travel to project sites to support operations.
• Collect, process, and verify field data for accuracy.
• Prepare field notes, sketches, and daily photos.
