Qualifications

• Experience as crew chief or party chief in surveying.
• Competent with total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors, and tablet PCs.
• Ability to travel for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR; readiness to meet company standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee field surveys including primary control, construction layout, and as-built surveys.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed (sketches, daily reports, timesheets).
• Coordinate with Project Surveyors, technicians and team members to align with schedules.
• Represent SAM professionally with clients, landowners and stakeholders.
• Read and interpret construction drawings to meet tolerances and standards.
• Ensure vehicles and field equipment are maintained, calibrated, and operational.
• Support project and team success with additional duties as needed.
