Job summary

Brevard County is seeking a Senior Survey Crew Chief to lead a crew of Survey Field Technicians in field surveys, data collection, and construction layout at the Government Center/Viera site.

The role requires six years of field surveying experience, FDOT MOT/TTC certification, OSHA Confined Space training, and leadership development. Salary is $27.40 hourly and negotiable based on experience; work hours are Mon-Fri 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of field survey experience, which includes one (1) year of experience as a Junior Party Chief.
• Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew of Survey Field Technicians in performing survey and asset data collection projects.
• Create vertical networks and perform construction layout.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and regulatory FDOT MOT/TTC plans and OSHA confined space safety requirements.
