Job summary

BearCom in Denver seeks a Foreman to lead day-to-day field execution on commercial security projects, supervising technicians, planning daily work, coordinating materials, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time turnover.

You will interpret drawings, manage labor hours, track testing and turnover, mentor staff, and maintain documentation; must have state license, multiple certifications, and experience leading field teams on security integrations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training completed.
• Five+ years in low-voltage/electrical field with supervisory experience.
• At least two years leading field technicians or three years as lead installer.
• Experience supervising two technicians on active construction sites.
• Required state low-voltage or security license.
• Current scissor-lift/boom-lift certifications and OSHA 30.
• Video management, access control, and intrusion system certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution for assigned projects and onsite supervision of technicians across one or more worksites.
• Plan daily and weekly manpower, assign work, coordinate materials and equipment, and monitor progress against schedule.
• Direct installation, programming, testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and turnover of access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and integrated security systems.
• Interpret full construction drawing sets, specifications, submittals, device layouts, and project documentation and elevate RFIs, changes, or risks promptly.
• Enforce company installation standards, quality-control procedures, jobsite rules, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate field documentation, labor hours, redlines, testing records, issue logs, and completion information.
• Coach, train, and develop technicians while driving accountability, professionalism, productivity, and a positive field culture.
