Job summary

MDS Staffing in Minnesota is seeking a Construction Field Superintendent to lead multiple projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and top-quality safety standards. You will manage field crews, subcontractors, schedules, and inspections in a fast-paced construction environment.

Ideal candidates read blueprints, coordinate materials and equipment, and mentor crews while maintaining strong communication with clients and project teams. This role is on-site across projects in MN.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multiple construction crews on varied project types.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret work orders.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Comfortable working outdoors at heights and using hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage production across projects and ensure safety and quality.
• Oversee subcontractors and in-house crews.
• Maintain daily logs and up-to-date schedules.
• Develop and manage SOWs, pre-con meetings, and gant charts.
• Schedule inspections and ensure site readiness.
• Enforce PPE and safety meetings on site.
• Provide punchlists and coordinate with customers.
