Job summary

Lochridge-Priest, Inc. is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee commercial HVAC and plumbing projects in Texas.

You will manage budgets, scheduling, labor hours, quality of work, safety, change management, customer service, and communications, ensuring installations meet plans and specifications. You will provide field leadership, organize crews, coordinate trades, supervise subcontractors, and uphold safety programs while maintaining strong relationships with customers and inspectors

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in management of HVAC in industrial and commercial settings.
• Ability to read and understand drawings, contract plans, schedules, job site documents, and specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse groups including employees, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Experience hiring and developing high-performance teams and overseeing work schedules.

Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to monitor progress, coordinate with GC, review productivity, and resolve changes.
• Improve safety program implementation and enforcement with Safety Director.
• Ensure safety rules and practices are followed as a priority.
• Coordinate installations between trades and manage subcontractor progress.
• Ensure manpower, equipment, and materials support schedule and budget.
• Inspect site conditions, identify issues, and take corrective actions to maximize productivity.
• Communicate project status and progress to the internal team and senior leadership.
