Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations on a major project in Phoenix. You will supervise installation across trades, align work with the project schedule and contract documents, and manage field teams to achieve milestone dates while controlling costs.

The role emphasizes self-perform work with heavy civil/concrete focus, strong safety program implementation, and proactive collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline preferred.
• 3 to 6+ years of experience on construction projects in a field role.
• Heavy civil construction experience with emphasis on self-perform work and concrete construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with contract documents, schedule, and planned sequence.
• Maintain knowledge of project milestones and requirements to meet them.
• Supervise field workforce and manage costs to align with budgets and expectations.
• Implement the safety program and conduct regular safety inspections in line with standards.
