Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Site Superintendent to lead field operations on client projects across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, scheduling, and client relations, with the first project in the northeast U.S. and travel up to 100%.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage records, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed, reporting to the Project Construction Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 9 years relevant experience
• Associate degree with 6 years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 3 years relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager
• Prepare Daily Reports, Quality Inspection Reports, and Monthly Progress Reports
• Record progress photographs and identify each photograph
• Ensure latest design drawing revisions are used on site
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed
• Support key trades/subcontractors on the project
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager
• Maintain clear communications with project management and clients
• Keep on-site records per CDM Smith requirements
• Follow The Perry Group Quality Policy and related procedures
