Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Site Superintendent 2 to lead on-site operations for client projects across the United States. You will manage safety, quality control, scheduling, contracts, and communications per drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include reporting, resolving field issues, and coordinating with project management to support large or complex projects. Travel is extensive, with a first project in the northeast Ohio area.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma with extensive construction experience or higher education with related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant construction mgmt experience also acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, specs, contracts and construction submittals is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety and quality per drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily and Quality Inspection Reports for review and record.
