Job summary

2 Krew Security & Surveillance is seeking an experienced security technician to repair and maintain security systems after installation, lead on-site teams, and ensure work meets company standards.

You will assess priorities with project managers, discuss client concerns, troubleshoot using diagnostic tools, and program CCTV, door access control, and low voltage systems. Travel and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the low-voltage security industry.
• Ability to develop and present information to team members and clients.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Delivers product training to end-users.
• Overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project and Service Managers with assessing priority and scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
• Meets with clients to discuss concerns or issues with the performance of the system.
• Utilizes diagnostic tools to assess the performance of various components of various systems.
• Identifies problems and potential problems, applies solutions and engages in troubleshooting efforts until a solution is found.
• Upgrades and modifies existing installations to improve performance or stability of the system.
• Performs routine and preventative maintenance to catch issues before they become a problem.
