Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician Lead, AMS to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently.

The role requires hands-on mechanical/electrical expertise, adherence to safety protocols, and strong communication to coordinate repairs and reports. Onsite Kilgore, TX with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of compressor maintenance or related industry experience required.
• Caterpillar G3600/G3500 Natural Gas Engine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Diagnose compressor system failures and optimize performance.
• Complete reports per area procedures/policies.
• Communicate parts availability with Supply Chain and prioritize repairs.
