Job summary

SNC is seeking a Field Service Technician IV to deliver advanced maintenance, repair, and support for sophisticated aerospace and defense systems at Cannon AFB, NM. The role emphasizes top-tier diagnostics, leadership, and independent management of complex field projects.

The technician will also develop training programs for customers and internal teams, maintain precise records, and ensure strict safety compliance. Extensive travel and deployment are required, including international travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of field tech experience.
• Ability to interpret moderately complex schematics/diagrams/manuals.
• Advanced troubleshooting and electrical wiring skills.
• Willingness to travel outside the continental US; extended deployments.

Responsibilities

• Execute maintenance and repair on aerospace/defense systems.
• Independently manage complex field service projects.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Lead and mentor field service team members.
• Develop and deliver training for customers and internal teams.
• Maintain detailed records of field activities and equipment status.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
• Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.
• Prepare detailed technical reports for senior management.
• Travel to customer sites, including international locations.
