Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair BAS and Fire Alarm systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues on-site and remotely.
• Support and mentor field service technicians.
• Work with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver solutions.
• Perform testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain service documentation and project records.
• Lead service projects and manage multiple priorities.
• Train customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement and service best practices.

Qualifications

Must Have

• 5+ years of experience installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm Systems, or related building technologies.
• 5+ years of experience diagnosing and resolving complex controls, software, hardware, and network issues.
• 5+ years of experience leading field service projects or technical teams in a customer-facing environment.
• 5+ years of experience performing testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and system commissioning.
• 5+ years of experience interpreting technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Strong knowledge of BAS, Fire Alarm/Life Safety systems, and NFPA standards.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• NICET Fire Alarm certification.
• Experience with Honeywell XLS3000 and similar fire alarm platforms.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and compliance requirements.
• Experience leading installation, retrofit, or modernization projects.
• Track record of improving service performance and operational efficiency.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
