Job Description Summary

We seek a dedicated Lead Field Service Technician to provide post-sale technical support to our customers through onsite engagements. As a Lead Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and delivering exceptional customer service. This role has the potential to include regional and national travel to support accounts.

Employment Details

This position has a one-year duration, ending on September 30, 2026. Employment may be terminated afterward if no new position is offered or accepted, without severance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead projects and support customer communication and onsite activities.
  2. Travel extensively to customer locations.
  3. Develop proficiency in all required skills, including maintenance, calibration, and device troubleshooting.
  4. Provide onsite and remote support, including installation and troubleshooting.
  5. Respond promptly to equipment errors, minimizing downtime.
  6. Execute complex installations and configure equipment to meet specifications.
  7. Maintain quality documentation and train service staff.
  8. Improve processes and develop technical resolutions.
  9. Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the service cycle.
  10. Implement logistics and knowledge tools to enhance service efficiency.
  11. Travel expectations: 100% travel.
  12. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Associate degree, military training, or equivalent field experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with computers and software.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliance with safety standards.
Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn detailed product knowledge and technical concepts.
  • Proficient in hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate travel and optimize equipment use.
Additional Skills
  • Experience in biomedical, networking, military, or related roles.
  • Healthcare environment experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and troubleshooting tools.
Additional Information
  • Weekend and overtime hours are required.
  • Maintain compliance with vendor credentialing and safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record for 3 years.
