Position Overview
The Lead Electrical Field Technician – Electrical Services plays a key role in leading and supporting electrical teams on a wide variety of industrial construction projects. This is a hands-on position that involves working directly in the field, providing both guidance and physical support to fellow electrical personnel. We're looking for someone who not only brings strong leadership skills but also has a solid understanding of industrial construction and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to get the job done. Our projects span many industries, including construction, manufacturing, power generation, commercial facilities, aggregates, oil and gas, solar, wind energy, and more.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands in dynamic, real-world environments and is eager to apply their skills across a range of challenging and rewarding projects. Please note that this position requires a high level of flexibility, as extensive out-of-town travel is expected. You’ll need to be willing to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and night shifts, as project needs arise. A strong working knowledge of the tools, products, and services offered by Beitzel Corporation is essential to success in this role.
What You'll Do
- Lead and perform electrical installations and troubleshooting
- Lead complementary and supplemental industrial and construction projects that may involve the installation of concrete pours and finishes, building and preparing forms, rebar, masonry, block laying, pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching and general labor as required
- Monitor and communicate equipment and supply needs as needed
- Prepare time and material (T&M tickets), receipts, and other paperwork as required by the job

What You'll Bring
- 2+ years of electrical experience and 4+ years of Industrial Construction experience preferred
- Preference given to candidates with their MSHA-WV Electrical License, Journeyman’s Electrical License, or Masters Electrical License
- State of West Virginia, Office of Miners’ Health, Safety & Training Certified Electrician preferred
- Possession of OSHA 30 certification is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and employee training abilities required
- Skillful in coordinating and prioritizing work
