Job description

Building Automation Technician - Honeywell

As a Building Automation Technician at Honeywell, you will provide technical guidance, oversee service delivery, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Your expertise will drive the success of our field service operations, ensuring efficient service to our customers. You will report to the Field Service Manager and work at Tinker Air Force Base.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guide and manage a team of field service technicians, providing technical guidance and facilitation.
  2. Oversee operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  3. Provide technical expertise for complex issues.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions.
  5. Stay updated with industry trends and recommend improvements.
  6. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  7. Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm, with rotational on-call
Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in field service or technical support, specifically with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Advanced networking knowledge: IP addressing, BACnet/IP, Modbus.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize tasks.
  • Proven track record of resolving system issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience with Niagara Framework (installation, programming, troubleshooting).
