Coventry Cove Apartments has a great opportunity for a Lead Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility of preserving the good condition and functionality of our 80-unit residential apartment community. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, HVAC installations, landscaping, etc.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, schedule, and inspect work being performed by the maintenance staff
2. Maintain a clean, organized shop and maintain inventory
3. Obtain bids on special projects
4. Work with the property manager to maintain the supply budget
5. Perform general maintenance including electrical, HVAC, & Plumbing
6. Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs
7. Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows, etc.)
8. Appliance repair & troubleshooting
9. Conduct general upkeep procedures
10. On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

Skills:

• Must have 2-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, & HVAC
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Good physical condition and strength
• HVAC Certification #OKIND
