Job summary

Honeywell International Inc. in Des Plaines, IL seeks a Lead Field Service Technician to service and repair complex equipment on-site with minimal supervision in the greater Chicago area. You will train customers, deliver quotes with sales, and support key accounts.

Lead Field Service Technician (Finance)

Responsibilities

Achieves successful on-site servicing and repair of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision. You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix administrative difficulties relating to delivery of service. You will train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment. You will deliver and participate in training sessions for fellow technicians. You will work with sales and local management to help deliver accurate quotes to customers. You will assist in the management of service contracts for key accounts.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma/ GED.
• 3+ years of field service experience with commercial fire alarm systems and/or security systems (card access and cameras).
• 3+ years of experience reading & interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license.

The annual base salary range for this position is $79,000 to $89,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
