Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Electrical Field Service Technician for critical power systems across the United States. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair UPS, switchgear, transformers, and battery systems in mission-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field service experience
• Ability to travel 14 days on, 2-3 days off across the United States
• Experience working with UPS systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, transformers, generators, ATS, battery systems
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and reading electrical schematics/one-line drawings
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for service documentation and reporting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
• Safety-focused and able to work independently in mission-critical environments

Responsibilities

• Lead field service projects and manage onsite activities independently.
• Install, commission, calibrate, maintain, and repair UPS systems and MV/LV electrical distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues in switchgear, breakers, transfer equipment, battery systems, transformers, and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service to minimize downtime.
• Conduct root cause analysis on electrical and power system failures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Supervise startup, commissioning, and integrated system testing; coordinate with internal teams and customers.
• Prepare detailed service reports and recommend repairs, upgrades, and parts.
