Job summary

Thompson Tractor seeks a Service Supervisor to lead a team of 5–15 technicians in Montgomery, ensuring top-tier customer service and efficient operations within the service department. You will support the Service Dispatcher and Advisor, coordinate quotes, open and close work orders, dispatch field techs, and mentor junior staff while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires a high school diploma and hands-on service experience; proficiency with MS Word/Excel and basic PC

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working as a service technician preferred; basic PC skills in Word/Excel required.
• Strong technical/repair skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Service Department employees.
• Coach and monitor technician performance and planning of jobs.
• Handle customer objections and communicate repair status.
• Assign jobs, dispatch field technicians, and support quotes and estimates.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction in all services.
