Generac Power Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Field Service Manager to lead on-site and remote support for industrial power generation equipment in data centers.

You will troubleshoot, install, service, and train customers while coordinating with sales and engineering teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 10 years of relevant experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% to support customers across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of relevant experience in field service or similar roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to support customers and sites.
• Proven ability to lead and communicate with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data center or industrial power generation equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and phone troubleshooting, repair, installation and sales support for industrial power generation equipment.
• Assist in site certification, operation and EPA testing.
• Develop and distribute service / parts bulletins to customers and teams.
• Coordinate with sales managers and regional stakeholders to meet customer needs.
• Provide technical input to engineering during product initiation and improvements.
• Maintain weekly reports on product issues and upsell opportunities.
