You will read drawings, test devices, and assist in commissioning while ensuring NEC/NFPA compliance. DC residency and RS2 certification are required, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• DC resident is required.
• RS2 certification is required.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics and basic drawings.
• Experience coordinating with customers and field crew preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and label low-voltage cables for electronic security systems.
• Mount and wire field devices such as card readers, cameras, motion sensors, door strikes, and control panels.
• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning under guidance of a senior technician.
• Read basic construction drawings and installation guides to ensure correct wiring.
• Ensure installation quality and code compliance (NEC, NFPA, etc.).
• Document installation progress and redline drawings as required.
• Interface professionally with customers, contractors and team members on-site.
