Job summary

Zentro, LLC in Chicago seeks a Lead Commercial Technician to conduct commercial site surveys, install and maintain network infrastructure, and lead field execution for customer installations. You will coordinate with property managers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service.

The ideal candidate has strong wireless and wired networking expertise, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering an exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Strong written and customer-facing communication skills.
• Experience aligning millimeter and microwave radios.
• Proficient in ethernet and fiber troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage schedules and meet appointments.
• Able to climb ladders and work around building structures for site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Review site survey requests and schedule surveys with customers or managers.
• Take rooftop photos to confirm line of site to base stations.
• Verify roof penetration and cable paths in riser systems.
• Ensure power availability for radio and router.
• Document complete site survey details including equipment locations.
• Install and route cabling from rooftop to MDF location.
• Install and maintain wireless and wired network equipment.
• Troubleshoot outages and perform radio alignments and upgrades.
• Coordinate with dispatch, property managers, and customers.
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies.
