Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Field Mechanic 4 to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.

You will mentor junior mechanics, coordinate corrective maintenance, and ensure adherence to DOT and HSE requirements before equipment returns to service. The role emphasizes leading maintenance tasks, prioritizing repairs, and maintaining detailed service records while supporting safety and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a related field mechanic role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HSE requirements.
• Ability to mentor junior technicians and lead maintenance tasks.
• Proficiency in diagnosing complex engine and electrical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engines and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures and determine corrective actions.
• Coordinate maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maintain readiness.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and coaching to junior mechanics.
• Coordinate tools, parts, and resources for safe, efficient repairs.
• Inspect completed repairs and verify safety and quality before service.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, policies, and HSE requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and technical training sessions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service histories.
• Communicate progress and safety concerns to operations and management.
• Follow approved procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Support continuous improvement for reliability and efficiency.
