Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. is seeking a Mechanic 2 to maintain and repair NexTier equipment, ensuring high standards of safety and reliability. The role involves mentoring less experienced team members and guiding operations during pumping activities.

The Mechanic 2 will read diagrams, perform diagnostics, and execute both routine and non-routine maintenance while keeping DOT compliance in focus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of engines, electronics, diagnostics, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, suspensions, cryogenics, and transmissions.
• Familiarity with shop equipment and a professional work environment beyond basic tools.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Ability to read and follow safety manuals, procedures, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Guides, instructs, and trains less experienced maintenance personnel.
• Monitors equipment during pumping activities and performs necessary repairs.
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental standards, NexTier, and client policies.
• Reads diagrams and schematics for work procedures.
• Performs routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs on assets.
• Lubricates, services, diagnoses, repairs, assembles, and maintains vehicles and other equipment.
