Job summary

Stoakley-Stewart Consultants Ltd. seeks a Field Installation Technician to lead on-site crews and oversee the end-to-end deployment of advanced industrial equipment across North America. The role requires traveling extensively, coordinating logistics, and ensuring installations meet high safety and performance standards.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and service complex systems while mentoring junior team members and collaborating with clients to deliver on-time, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience installing, maintaining, or servicing industrial or mechanical equipment.
• Ability to interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Troubleshooting electrical or low-voltage systems is an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively with a valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site crews, manage logistics, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to specification.
• Oversee field installations, maintenance, and servicing of product lines across North America.
• Collaborate with internal teams to interpret project requirements and develop installation plans.
• Provide training and on-job guidance to ensure safe, efficient, and quality work.
• Coordinate tools, materials, and equipment for each job and track expenses.
