Qualifications

• Hold active Idaho qualified personnel testing qualifications for the Idaho Transportation Department.
• Able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions over rough terrain.
• Proficient with photographic and written documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, and document the work in progress by the contractor.
• Prepare daily reports to document work progress and site conditions.
• Act as a liaison between the Engineer, Owner, and Contractor.

Skills

IQP certifications

Ability to read and understand construction drawings

Accurate record-keeping

Good written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with public works construction processes

Education

High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of construction experience

Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction certifications
