Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to lead daily field crews in Lancaster County. You will plan, coordinate, and assign tasks, supervise safety, and ensure quality while interfacing with property owners and supervisors.

Ideal candidates have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to operate under policy and OSHA guidelines. The role is full-time, non-exempt and offers competitive hourly pay with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational ability and multitasking.
• Able to work independently in field conditions.
• Ability to drive an approved company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies; conducts safety training.
• Interacts with property owners/customers to arrange access and discuss work.
• Obtains permission from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations through professional conduct on site.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports of crew performance.
• Controls crew costs and utilization of personnel and equipment.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, crew time, and incidents.
