Zusammenfassung

gpac is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field crews on underground utility, grading, excavation, and site development projects in Virginia. The ideal candidate is hands-on, with a solid civil construction background, capable of managing crews, equipment, materials, safety, and daily production.

The role requires directing installation of water/sewer utilities, drainage, grading, and site work, while ensuring plans and specifications are followed.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years as Foreman/Lead in underground utilities or heavy civil construction.
• Experience with water/sewer, storm drainage, excavation and mass earthwork.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and utility drawings.
• Strong communication and leadership; able to train crew.
• Valid driver's license required.
• OSHA/competent person training is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead and supervise field crews performing underground utility, excavation, grading, and sitework.
• Plan and coordinate daily field activities to maintain productivity and project schedules.
• Direct installation of water and sewer utilities, storm drainage, and underground piping.
• Oversee mass excavation, grading, trenching, backfill, and site preparation.
• Read and interpret civil plans and utility drawings; coordinate manpower, equipment, materials and deliveries.
• Operate and work around heavy equipment as needed; ensure work meets plans and specs.
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors and other personnel.
• Maintain daily reports and accurate documentation of field activities.
