Vertiv is seeking a Senior Field Engineer in California to supervise, train, and assist field service teams. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, and lead large turnkey projects with detailed power surveys.

You will develop tests, prepare proposals, and manage reports and billing, while interfacing with clients and supporting business development. Travel and weekend schedules are possible.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, NFPA and industry standards.
• Experience with power quality surveys, start-up, testing of switchgear.
• Ability to lead large field projects and manage scheduling.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Willing to travel internationally up to several weeks.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise field service engineers and technicians.
• Perform complex troubleshooting and testing on electrical systems.
• Lead turnkey projects including commissioning of substations.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, schedules, reports and billing.
• Interface with clients and support business development.
