Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking experienced Senior Superintendents to oversee day-to-day field operations on large-scale long-haul fiber installation projects across North America. You will develop project plans and mentor the field team while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in telecommunications construction supervision, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications construction supervision.
• Knowledge of underground fiber installation using boring and plow equipment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to supervise craft employees and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects meet approved plans, specs, and codes.
• Lead development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs; oversee investigations.
• Review and update construction schedules; manage delays and contribute to schedules.
• Estimate activity durations and materials for complex projects.
• Track financial aspects and reporting.
• Participate in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement, negotiations.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for the field team.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project staff and superintendents.
