Tyson Foods is seeking a Feed Mill Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the feed mill, manage staff, and ensure high-quality poultry feed production. The role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, and process optimization across QA, maintenance, and live production teams.

The position requires leadership skills, knowledge of feed formulation and quality control, and experience supervising production staff on a 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s in agriculture, animal science, feed manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in feed mill operations or similar production environment.
• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily feed mill operations to ensure efficient production and quality.
• Lead and train feed mill operators and production staff.
• Ensure compliance with FDA/USDA/FSMA and company feed safety protocols.
• Coordinate maintenance with the team to keep equipment functioning and schedule preventive upkeep.
• Monitor raw material and finished feed inventory; prevent shortages and optimize logistics.
• Maintain records of production data, ingredient usage, and maintenance activities.
• Promote safety, efficiency, and teamwork; enforce PPE usage and safe work practices.
