You will lead operators, manage inventory, and drive continuous improvement while upholding regulatory standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, animal science, feed manufacturing, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in feed mill operations or similar production environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of feed formulation, processing, and quality control.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for animal feed production.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for feed mill equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Production Management: Supervise and coordinate feed mill operations to ensure efficient feed production.
• Team Leadership: Manage and train feed mill operators and production staff.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and feed safety protocols.
• Maintenance & Equipment Oversight: Work with maintenance to ensure proper functioning of machinery.
• Inventory & Logistics Management: Monitor raw material and feed inventory levels; coordinate feed deliveries.
• Safety & Environmental Compliance: Enforce safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Maintain records and identify process improvements.
