Responsibilities

• Provide project oversight including setting priorities, developing objectives, and financial management.
• Actively participate in design while serving as a technical resource for a multi-disciplinary team.
• Lead project engineering and management efforts.
• Foster strong communication with clients and internal teams.
• Drive business development activities including proposal preparation, interviews/presentations, and client management.
• Engage in professional society involvement to strengthen industry presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 8+ years of design experience in transportation engineering (highways, roadways, local streets).
• Knowledge of FDOT design standards.
• Proven experience in business development, project tracking, proposal development, and client management.
• Project Management experience with FDOT is a plus.
• Leadership and staff management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Open Roads Designer (ORD), AutoCAD, and Civil3D is a strong advantage.
