FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a Supervisor, Failure Analysis & Support, to lead the analytics program for event and equipment failures across our asset base. You will develop processes, perform causal analyses, and guide a team to improve tracking and reporting for better reliability.

The role reports to the Manager, Asset Performance Monitoring and may be located at CAET Akron, with other FirstEnergy footprints considered. Expertise in analytics tools and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• A bachelor's degree in a non-engineering discipline will be considered with applicable experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 7 years of direct, related experience will be considered.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrating and directing a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Directing and developing staff responsible for management of the event and failure analytics program.
• Identifying asset populations with recurring reliability or lifecycle concerns and recommending portfolio-level strategies.
• Collaborating with other business units to ensure analyses are complete and accurate.
• Developing and issuing failure analytics reporting to improve asset management.
