Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• A bachelor's degree in a non-engineering discipline will be considered with applicable experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 7 years of direct, related experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating and directing a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Directing and developing staff for event and failure analytics supporting FirstEnergy's assets.
• Identifying asset populations with recurring reliability or lifecycle concerns and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Collaborating with other business units to ensure causal analyses and documentation are complete and accurate.
• Developing and issuing failure analytics reporting to support asset management strategy.
• Overseeing the capital portfolio development process for projects from AMRC recommendations.
• Engaging with utility industry experts on failure analyses and program implementation.
• Managing vendor/contractor resources to achieve program goals.
