FirstEnergy Corp. in Ohio seeks a Senior Supervisor to lead Failure Analysis & Support, expanding analytics to strengthen asset performance. You will guide a team, drive causal analyses, and partner across utilities to improve reliability.

You will develop reporting, manage budgets, and coordinate with AMRC projects, suppliers, and internal customers, while advancing data quality and safety practices in a dynamic environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate or bachelor degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• A bachelor's degree in a non-engineering discipline will be considered with applicable experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 7 years of direct, related experience will be considered with knowledge of transmission/distribution equipment and life cycle.
• Experience with failure analytics and statistical analysis techniques for trend determination.
• Proven leadership skills to direct others and ensure safety and satisfactory work.
• Excellent communication and data reporting skills, including data visualization.

Aufgaben

• Direct staff managing event and failure analytics to support assets (substation and line).
• Develop and issue failure analytics reporting to improve asset management strategy.
• Collaborate with other units to ensure complete causal analyses and documentation.
• Oversee capital portfolio development for AMRC-recommended projects.
• Engage with utility industry experts on failure analyses and implementation.
• Model and manage work priorities, budgets, and travel between locations.
