Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking an analytics professional to support engineers and asset management by analyzing asset, maintenance, operational, inspection, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

You will develop business requirements, create recurring reports and dashboards, and prepare executive summaries for leadership across reliability, planning, and investment decisions. Occasional travel and storm duty support may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, presentations, and process improvement.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into business requirements and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze asset, maintenance, operational, inspection, and performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business requirements and recommend improvements to reports, analytics, processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Create and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and business summaries to support reliability, planning, and investments.
• Prepare clear presentations and executive summaries for leadership and internal partners.
• Analyze data across the FirstEnergy fleet in coordination with engineering and asset management teams.
• Support data collection, reporting processes, and performance indicators for asset information programs.
• Develop training materials and process documentation for asset management programs.
• Provide analytics and presentation support for special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
• Organize multiple workstreams and stakeholder requests while supporting travel and storm duty as assigned.
