Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure compliance with DoW and DCSA at a complex cleared facility. You will lead site security, partner with program management and government representatives to protect classified information and maintain security programs.

You will conduct security briefings, manage badges, oversee PERSEC and COMSEC, and prepare for inspections while coordinating with senior leaders to meet ICD 705 SCIF requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma with 9+ years of relevant security experience OR Bachelor's with 5+ years
• Experience: 9+ years of related industrial security experience OR a Bachelor's with 5+ years
• Technical skills: Knowledge of DCSA policies including 32 CFR Part 117, DoWM 5200.01, ICD 705 SCIF requirements
• Security clearance: Active TS clearance and ability to obtain SCI; US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Protect classified government information and ensure compliance with personnel, physical, administrative, and program security standards
• Create, issue, and program employee badges for site access
• Conduct new-hire, annual security briefings and debriefings, and security education programs
• Investigate security incidents, losses, and violations; implement corrective actions
• Maintain and audit classified storage areas and records
• Provide security oversight for closed areas and restricted spaces
• Manage customer records and audit documentation
• Conduct biannual self-inspections per NISPOM and DCSA requirements
• Interface with program management for security requirements
• Deliver security briefings and written guidance to employees and stakeholders
• Process and safeguard PII, CUI, and other sensitive information per DoW policies
• Apply security measures to protect personnel while minimizing operational impact
• Maintain and improve the industrial security program
• Represent the organization with senior leaders and government representatives
• Interpret and revise security policies as needed
• Process new employee security clearance requests
• Track investigations and PERSEC support including DISS and NBIS
• Provide COMSEC management and oversight
• Support construction and accreditation of closed areas
• Knowledge of ICD 705 SCIF requirements
• Complete other security-related duties as assigned
