Job summary

CBRE leads a Lead Facility Mechanic role supporting a premier health care client in a union environment. You will head facilities operations, troubleshoot complex building systems, and drive preventive maintenance to ensure safe, high-functioning patient care spaces.

This position offers a Monday–Friday day shift with on-call rotation, enabling you to demonstrate leadership and impact while advancing your expertise within a global real estate leader.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3–4 years in facility maintenance.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Experience with building systems and preventive maintenance.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams on maintenance and repair efforts.
• Inspect and repair HVAC units, boilers, cooling towers and related systems.
• Review and assign work orders; perform ongoing preventive maintenance.
• Conduct facility inspections and due diligence; report on conditions affecting occupancy.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and manage inventory.
• Lead by example and implement preventive maintenance programs.
