Job summary

The Lead Facility Engineer serves as the on-site O&M technical lead at the Dexterra Group customer facility in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. This role provides direct technical oversight, operational leadership, and quality control across site operations, building automation systems, and general mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to meet contract requirements and PWS standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience managing a crew of 10+.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for electrical, control, fire alarm and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee chiller plant, boilers, and kitchen repairs.
• Supervise and advise O&M staff.
• Verify completion of all work orders.
• Ensure heating and cooling systems function safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Maintain and operate Building Automation System (BAS) within parameters.
• Keep Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) current.
