Job summary

DUF6-MCS LLC in Piketon, OH is seeking a Facility Manager I to oversee non-nuclear building systems, manage day-to-day operations, and coordinate with vendors to maintain safe, reliable facilities. This role focuses on maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an HSPD-12 credential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of non-nuclear building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building automation.
• Coordinate space utilization, tenant relocations, and cross-functional mission integration support.
• Plan, schedule, and organize daily work orders to optimize maintenance resources.
• Track work order completion, maintenance backlogs, and routine repairs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee third-party vendors and subcontractors, ensuring SLAs and job specs are met.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, building codes, quality standards, and environmental safety regulations.
• Participate in Safety Work Groups and ISMS activities.
• Monitor budgets, cost estimates, material requisitions, and resource planning.
• Develop and update facility operating plans, procedures, and emergency action documents.
• Instruct staff and contractors on work methods and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with internal departments, tenants, senior management, and auditors.
