PVH Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV seeks a Facilities Engineering Supervisor to lead the operations and maintenance team, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. The role oversees building automation, HVAC efficiency, and corrective action across critical systems.

You'll guide technical staff, coordinate inspections, and maintain the CMMS to support accurate asset tracking and proactive maintenance, while advancing training and procedural improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ experience in plant operations, maintenance, mechanics or the building trades.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the work assignments of the Facilities Engineering technicians and monitors workflow to assure OHFLAC/TJC standards are met.
• Monitors the Environment of Care elements of performance standards to determine that they are performed on scheduled due dates.
• Monitors elements of performance standards that have failed and require corrective action.
• Coordinates Environment of Care inspections and documents the results of the inspections.
• Coordinates and schedules corrective PFI’s. Documents and monitors the PFI’s on the ESOC web site.
• Supervises the team to ensure work meets quality and regulatory standards.
• Supervises the building automation system. Performs daily audits of the building automation system.
• Coordinates to assure the HVAC systems are performing efficiently.
• Assist with trouble shooting building controls, software integration, and control logic.
• Performs daily audits of room pressurization, relative humidity, and ASHRAE code compliance standards.
• Maintains the computer maintenance system for compliance.
• Conducts routine audits of Environment of Care work orders. Develops Environment of Care preventative maintenance inspections as per the code requirements.
• Creates monthly reports on Environment of Care performance.
• Develops asset tracking history for new equipment and buildings.
• Monitor the technician training program.
• Develops, monitors, and adapts training to changing technology.
• Inventory and add new equipment to the CMMS system as building projects are completed.
• Review, assess and develop maintenance procedures for new equipment.
• Train team in new procedures and adjust as warranted.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the technician training program.
