Job summary

Western Missouri Medical Center is seeking a Lead – Facilities Repairs, Operations & Mechanical Systems to provide technical leadership for the hospital's mechanical systems, HVAC, boilers, chillers, and building automation. This role focuses on reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance while guiding a team of facilities staff.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, manage work orders, coordinate with external contractors, and respond to facility emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Health care construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check including MV records.
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for mechanical building systems.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors.
