Job summary

Sanford Health in Waconia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform light maintenance, repairs and cleaning in a safe, professional manner. This 40-hour day shift role supports patient care areas.

Must have basic mechanical knowledge, read blueprints and use hand tools, meters and gauges. Prior building systems experience preferred; a valid driver's license may be required depending on location. On-site, with opportunities for education assistance and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; trade or vocational schooling preferred.
• Minimum of two years experience in building systems preferred.
• Depending on location, a valid driver's license and a good driving record may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for light maintenance repair and cleaning tasks.
• Work safely in patient/resident care areas and keep tools out of reach of children.
• Read blueprints and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair.
• Explain conditions and situations accurately while troubleshooting.
