Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain safe, efficient buildings and grounds across ADP properties. You will perform maintenance across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related systems, and supervise a team of technicians and external vendors.

You will handle inspections, documentation, and respond to emergencies as needed, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient operation of facilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Verifiable attitude and leadership skills in facilities maintenance.
• Mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, welding skills.
• Experience with gas/oil burners and hydraulics is beneficial.
• Willingness to respond to off-hours calls and emergencies.
• Advanced licensing in electrical/HVAC or lift truck trades is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and building repairs (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical/burg/fire protection systems and devices.
• Maintain commercial property components such as dock plates, overhead doors, fire pumps, fire suppression, HVAC belts, water systems, gates, fencing, painting, cleaning.
• Maintain company property grounds including landscaping, snow removal.
• Conduct property/facility visual inspections (fire suppression devices, lighting, ingress/egress, OSHA).
• Maintain and organize facility files/documentation.
• Mentor, train and coach technicians; oversee outside vendors as needed.
